The Nate Najar Trio, Live at the Side Door is coming soon! The disc features Nate on nylon string guitar, John Lamb on bass and Chuck Redd on drums. Recorded on May 15th at Palladium Theatre's Side Door Jazz Club, it was a swinging night. Look for it in September. First copies will be available at Nate's upcoming appearances.

I just got word that Cafe Alma will no longer be hosting live music. That means my upcoming dates there are canceled. So thanks to those who have been coming to see me there in the past!

I've just recorded a Christmas cd and we're mixing and editing now. Which means it will be available by the holidays! This record features myself on classical guitar with John Lamb on bass, Chuck Redd on drums and guest Mike MacArthur on tenor saxophone.

The new Nate Najar Trio cd, "I'm All Smiles" has been mixed and mastered and sent off to be made! Expect to see it in stores, online and hear it on the radio in January. The cd features Nate on Buscarino Classical Guitar, Steve Boisen on bass and Chuck Redd on drums with percussionist Duduka Da Fonseca guesting on a few tracks.

In early June, I'll be going to NY to record a new cd. This recording will feature my nylon string Buscarino guitar in a trio setting with bassist Steve Boisen and drummer Chuck Redd.

I've added some new photos to the gallery from a wonderful concert I got to do with Chuck Redd and John Lamb. Chuck played vibes and drums, John on bass and we performed an evneing of Ellington/Strayhorn. We had a packed house with a very enthusiastic and appreciative audience. If only all gigs could be that great!

"Swinging With The Nate Najar Quartet" is out! This recording features me on the Buscarino nylon string guitar, Chuck Redd on vibraphone, Pat O'Leary on bass and Joe Ascione on drums. We play mostly swinging material, with a samba, bossa nova and choro thrown in for good measure. There's also some solo guitar.
